LONG-TERM Kr-85 AND Xe-133 CONCENTRATION IN LOWER ATMOSPHERE MEASUREMENTS

For about 30 years our Laboratory develops the instruments and methods for Kr and Xe atmospheric radioactivity measurements. The regular measurements of Kr and Xe in the air have been conducted up to 1990 with the equipment developed. The 133 Xe atmospheric activity data (Ci/liter of the air) vs time is presented here to illustrate the results we have obtained. The air samples were taken in the vicinity of Mariupol (ex-Zhdanov) town on the Azov sea.

Long-term dynamics of the Xe-133 concentration in lower atmosphere (Ci/(l of air))
